Tie is a necessary decoration for all men, and they have to prepare one to attend formal occasions. However, in daily life, men must know how to maintain their ties, and then they could keep their ties for a long time. Next I would introduce several ways to maintain your tie well.

First, after using the tie, you should unfasten it immediately and take it down gently, avoiding dragging the surface cloth and the lining with great strength in case of breaking the fiber and causing permanent wrinkles.

Second, after unfastening your tie, you should double it up and lie it flat or should hang it with a special tie hanger, and at the same time you should notice whether the location you place your tie is smooth or not in case of scratching your tie.

Third, when you have to fasten seat belt in the process of driving the car, you should not place your tie inside the seat belt in case that it could have wrinkles.

Fourth, you should wear your tie every several days after using it every time, and you should put it at humid places or spray a little of water on it, making folds get back into shape, and then you could put it away at dry places.

Fifth, if your tie is stained with dirt, you should dry-clean it immediately. You should iron it in low temperature with the stream iron while you are dealing with the wrinkles at the knot. Water scrubbing and high-temperature ironing could make the tie out of shape and get damaged easily.
Sixth, the place to store your tie must keep dry, and the tie is not suitable to be insolated under the sun, or the silk would get yellow gradually, and in this way the tie will appear ugly.
